About this game
Pokémon Sapphire shares Ruby's Hoenn setting while changing parts of the story and which Pokémon you encounter. Your journey follows the Gym challenge as Team Aqua's ambitions create a larger problem for the region.
Team selection involves more than matching types: moves, abilities and natures affect how each Pokémon performs. Contests and Secret Bases offer another way to spend time between major battles.
