About this game
Sonic Advance brings the series' side-scrolling speed to GBA with four playable characters. Sonic's familiar movement is joined by Tails's flight, Knuckles's climbing and Amy's hammer-based approach. Their differences make a return visit to the same stage feel more than a simple character swap.
Fast routes reward confident movement, while slower exploration can reveal rings, alternative paths and special-stage opportunities. Dr. Eggman's machines provide boss encounters that interrupt the race towards each stage's exit.
